Wide Open Spaces - Everett Crowley Park and the Fraser River walkway

In the Champlain you can escape and find some quiet time, with tranquille places to think and forget the world. If it’s a quiet walk in the woods with your dog you’re seeking, then look no further than the serenity and peace of Everitt Crowley Park. With it's hardy deciduous trees, blackberry bushes and untamed feel it's 40 hectares of wilderness in the city.

A favourite spot in the area is along the boardwalk of the Frase river , where you can enjoy the constant activity of a working river.

 

Hey Sports Fans - Champlain Heights Park

This is a park for people who love to play team sports. You can play softball, soccer, baseball, tennis and there’s a wonderful playground to keep the kids entertained.

 

Woof Woof - Sparwood Park

This is dog lover’s central. Come here on any given morning and you’ll find 4 legged friends hanging out with their folks.

 

Other Parks and trails include Red Alder Walk which runs from the top to the bottom of the Champlain heights as well as Captain Cook Park and Kinross ravine park.
